Kohl's Early Talent 2020-2022

Projects I worked on for Kohl's while I was a student and immediately following graduating with my Bachelor of Arts from Columbia College Chicago in Spring of 2022.

The Big One Kids Fall 2023 | Kohl's 2022 Internship Design Challenge

I designed this sensory-friendly soft home collection during my second summer internship at Kohl's. One of my goals for that summer was to design a unicorn-based product, but my manager challenged me to innovate my unicorn. That unicorn was the weighted plushy pillow presented in this project. I aimed for relevant white space product innovations while also complimenting into  current assortments and best-seller ideas.

Tek Gear Girls SU 2023 | Kohl's 2022 Internship Design Challenge

I designed this collection for the active girl during my second summer internship with Kohl's. I was fueled with inspiration - from my previous experiences in Girls 7-16, from working on my senior collection, and from my freshly revived interest in adaptive and accessible product! I aimed to show my not only my well-researched point of view, but my grown skillsets in AI technical sketching and in Graphic/Solid/Print CAD merchandising also.

Kohl's Early Talent 2021 Final Interview Event

I created this work as part of the process for being a part of the Kohl's Design Intern Class of 2022. Based on my experiences following my summer with on Kids with 7-16, I designed this collection to give the SO Girl a new range of cool and cute casual pieces that play off of outdoor escapism aesthetics.

Kohl's Early Talent 2020 Final Interview Event

I created this work as part of the process for being a part of the Kohl's Design Intern Class of 2021. I researched extensively on the recently launched launched Little Co brand, and used my design skills to provide cute + comfortable elevated options for little ones. Focused on softness, sustainability and gender neutrality in the newly hybrid world.
